WebMoney has joined the Faster Payments System of the Central Bank of Russia

WebMoney Transfer has joined the Faster Payments System (FPS) of the Bank of Russia. Owners of WMP wallets can now instantly send funds to 38 banks-participants of the FPS, and receive incoming transfers. The clearing bank of WebMoney for wallets in Russian Rubles is JSC Bank `CCB`.

Using the FPS, funds to a WebMoney wallet can be added free of charge. The commission fee for transferring funds to other banks is 1.2 % plus the system`s service charge of 0.8%.

Clients of the FSP-participants have the option of transferring funds to a WebMoney wallet with the recipient`s mobile number by selecting the relevant option in their banking app.

To use the service, owners of an electronic wallet need to go to the `Transfer` menu, select `By phone number` and then `Via the Faster Payments System` of the mobile app or the web version of  WebMoney Keeper.

Remember that from 2019 system participants can transfer funds with a mobile number between WebMoney and Sberbank.
